This month’s Radiance Central Healthy Habits Challenge was to drink at least 6-8 cups of water daily for the entire month! This is the first time in my life I’ve been diligent about drinking an abundance of water consistently every day! I feel great, and I will definintely continue. The biggest benefits I noticed was my energy levels were much higher, I never had a mid-day energy drop like I normally do, my skin feels hydrated (even my hair feels softer), and I’m not retaining water like I used to, no more stomach bloating or puffiness! Benefits that I was expecting, but didn’t experience were better digestion (I noticed no difference in my digestion with the extra water), I don’t get the best sleep from taking care of my 1.5 year old daughter and the extra water did not reduce the dark circles I can get under my eyes, and no change in appetite or weight either. Did you do the Healthy Habits Challenge? If so, what changes or benefits did you experinece from the increase of water, and were you expecting some changes that didn’t happen? Next month’s Healthy Habits Challenge is drinking at least a cup of Green Juice every day for the entire month of May (I’m aiming for 2 cups/500ml of green juice a day!). If you don’t have a juicer, tomorrow I’ll show you how to make juice with a blender and strainer.
